York Region Community Safety and Well-Being Plan Survey

York Region is calling on residents to share their voices as it updates its Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Plan, an initiative aimed at building safer, healthier, and more inclusive communities across the region.

The CSWB Plan outlines strategies to address key social issues that influence community well-being — including mental health, housing stability, social inclusion, and access to support services. As part of the plan’s refresh, York Region is conducting a short public survey to better understand residents’ priorities, concerns, and ideas for action.

Officials say the survey takes only three to five minutes to complete and will help inform future programs and services that strengthen community safety and equity across York’s nine municipalities.

Residents are encouraged to participate by visiting york.ca/form/cswb-consultation. More details about the plan and related initiatives can be found at york.ca/communityaction.

As York Region notes, “a strong, caring, and safe community begins with you.”
