Richmond Hill man charged in multiple indecent‐act incidents

Richmond Hill, Ontario – October 20, 2025 —
Investigators with the York Regional Police (YRP) #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have laid charges against a 34-year-old Richmond Hill man following three separate incidents in the city involving indecent exposure and harassment.

The first incident occurred on July 23, 2025, at approximately 11 a.m., when a person on a trail system near Tower Hill Road and Mockingbird Drive saw a male suspect exposing himself by a wooden fence.
The second incident happened on September 11, 2025, at about 4:45 p.m., near Woodriver Street and Bayview Avenue, where a victim was followed on a trail and subjected to sexual comments.
The most recent incident took place on September 30, 2025, around 2 p.m., near Devonsleigh Boulevard and Summitcrest Drive; the victim was approached by a male who exposed himself.

None of the victims were physically injured.  On Friday, October 17, 2025, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Richmond Hill and charged 34-year-old Jared Ross of Richmond Hill with:

Indecent Act (two counts)

Mischief (three counts)

Criminal Harassment


YRP is releasing an image of the suspect as they believe there may be additional victims.  They are asking anyone with information to contact the #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7241.
