Ring in the Lunar New Year with colour, culture, and community at the Chinese Spring Festival Celebration – Community Fair on Sunday, February 15, from 12–3 p.m. at the gym inside Richvale Community Centre (160 Avenue Rd.).
This community-led event, organized by the International Psychology Association of Canada (IPAC), brings together families, seniors, newcomers, and youth for an afternoon of cultural connection and hands-on fun. Visitors can try traditional activities like painted fan and calligraphy workshops, pottery, Chinese games, and children’s face painting, alongside live performances from local senior groups.
Open to all, the celebration offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and share in the spirit of the Spring Festival right here in Richmond Hill.
