All-Candidates Debate Sessions for Richmond Hill Ridings

Voters in the Aurora–Richmond Hill–Oak Ridges and Richmond Hill South ridings had the opportunity to hear directly from their federal election candidates during a series of all-candidate debate sessions held on Wednesday 15 and 16th of April. Organized by the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, the debates aimed to provide residents with a clear understanding of where each candidate stands on key issues.
The debates, held at local community centers, saw participation from major party candidates, including the Liberals, Conservatives, NDP, and Greens. Topics ranged from housing affordability and healthcare to climate change and infrastructure development—issues especially relevant to the rapidly growing suburban regions north of Toronto.
