Are you passionate about making comics?
Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced artist or writer, Strong Richmond Hill Comics Fan Club (SRCFC) is the perfect place for you! We bring together comic book creators from diverse backgrounds and skill levels to learn, collaborate, and grow. Our community is all about sharing knowledge, offering support, and helping each other tackle the challenges of creating comics—from storytelling and art techniques to publishing and marketing.
We welcome everyone, regardless of experience, and strive to create a space that accommodates people’s unique needs. No question is too small, and no challenge is too big—we’re here to provide insights and guidance without judgment. Whether you need feedback on your script, help refining your artwork, or just a group of like-minded creators to connect with, SRCFC is the place to be.
SRCFC is led by Howard Wong, a local comic author and creative development strategist. Howard has been nominated for the Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Canadian Comic Book Writer. He develops animation, comic books, high-end collectible toys, video games, and more. He has authored titles and contributed to collected works for industry leaders like: Bandai, Bungie, Marvel Comics, and Threezero. Anthologies he has written stories for have been nominated for the Gene Day Award, Comic Book Buyer’s Guide Fan Award for Favourite Graphic Novel, and the Ghastly Award for Favourite Horror Anthology.
