Two pedestrians were taken to hospital with serious injuries after separate collisions on Major Mackenzie Drive in Richmond Hill on Sept. 24, according to media reports citing York Regional Police.
The first collision was reported just before 7:50 a.m. at Spadina Road. A second was reported around 8:40 a.m. at Forestwood Street. The drivers remained at the scenes.
Police have not confirmed whether the incidents were connected. Reports so far do not explain how either collision happened, so the available information does not establish a cause.
