Richmond Hill Public Library is holding a series of workshops on Comics. The instructor is Howard Wong, a comic author and creative development strategist. The participants will learn the basics of comic creation.

Howard Wong has been nominated for the Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Canadian Comic Book Writer. He develops animation, comic books, high-end collectible toys, video games, and more. He has authored titles and contributed to collected works for industry leaders like: Bandai, Bungie, Marvel Comics, and Threezero. Anthologies he has written stories for have been nominated for the Gene Day Award, Comic Book Buyer’s Guide Fan Award for Favourite Graphic Novel, and the Ghastly Award for Favourite Horror Anthology.
